By accessing and using Reputation Vault ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you may not use the Service.
These terms apply to all users, including freelancers, creators, consultants, and anyone who signs up for an account. By clicking "Sign Up" or continuing to use the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
Reputation Vault is a SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) platform designed to help freelancers, creators, and consultants build and manage portable, verified trust profiles. The Service includes:
We offer three pricing tiers: Free (basic features), Pro ($19/month), and Business ($49/month). Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe. All features and functionality are provided "as-is" and may be modified or updated at our discretion.
To use Reputation Vault, you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal right to enter into this agreement. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or organization, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that entity to these terms.
You own all testimonials, reviews, reputation data, and any other content you upload or create in Reputation Vault. We do not claim any ownership rights to your data.
By uploading content to Reputation Vault, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, display, and process your data in order to provide the Service. This includes hosting your profile, generating widgets, computing trust scores, and providing analytics.
You can export all of your reputation data at any time, in a standard, machine-readable format. We support one-click export functionality and will never hold your data hostage. Even if you close your account, you retain permanent access rights to download your data.
We partner with external platforms (Upwork, Fiverr, Google, etc.) to import your reviews. When you authorize these integrations, we access only the review and rating information necessary to build your profile. We never post, modify, or delete reviews on your behalf unless explicitly authorized.
Reputation Vault includes verification features to ensure testimonials are authentic. Verified testimonials come from real clients and include verified contact information. We use various methods to verify authenticity, including email verification and platform cross-referencing.
You are responsible for ensuring all testimonials you add to your profile are accurate and truthful. You must have permission from each client before displaying their testimonial. Fake, misleading, or fraudulent testimonials are strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension.
Trust scores are computed algorithmically based on the number of verified testimonials, ratings, and recency of feedback. Trust scores are provided for informational purposes and do not constitute a guarantee or warranty of quality. We are not responsible for how third parties interpret or rely on trust scores.
Reputation Vault offers three pricing tiers:
All paid subscriptions are billed monthly and processed through Stripe. We accept all major credit cards.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically each month on the anniversary of your billing date. Your subscription will continue to renew until you cancel it. We will charge your payment method on file unless you cancel before the next renewal date.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months, but you will retain access to your account until the end of your paid period.
We may change our pricing at any time, but we will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price increase applies to your account. If you disagree with a price change, you may cancel your subscription.
If a payment fails, we will attempt to collect the payment again. If payments continue to fail, we may suspend your account until the balance is resolved.
You agree not to use Reputation Vault for any of the following:
We reserve the right to monitor activity and take action against users who violate these terms, including account suspension, termination, or legal action where applicable.
We own and retain all intellectual property rights to the Reputation Vault platform, including the software, algorithms, design, brand, logo, and all documentation. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal or business use only.
You retain all intellectual property rights to your testimonials, reviews, and other content you upload. By using our Service, you grant us the right to display and distribute your content as part of your public reputation profile.
When you import reviews from external platforms, those reviews remain the intellectual property of the original platforms and the reviewers. We display them with proper attribution and in accordance with each platform's terms of service.
REPUTATION VAULT IS PROVIDED "AS-IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, MERCHANTABILITY, AND TITLE.
We do not guarantee that using Reputation Vault will result in more clients, increased income, or any specific business outcome. Trust scores and reputation profiles are informational tools only. Results depend on many factors outside our control.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF REPUTATION VAULT, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR YOUR SUBSCRIPTION IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
We use third-party services including Supabase (for authentication and database), Stripe (for payment processing), and Resend (for email). We are not responsible for any issues, outages, or problems with these services. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
You may terminate your account at any time by logging into your settings and selecting "Delete Account." Once terminated, your account will be deactivated, but you retain the right to download your data for 30 days after termination.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
We will attempt to provide notice before termination, except in cases of urgent abuse or violation. Upon termination, you will lose access to the Service, but you may still download your data within 30 days.
After your account is terminated, we will retain your data in backup systems for up to 90 days for legal and operational purposes, then permanently delete it.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our Service, legal requirements, or other factors. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any material changes by posting the new terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you may cancel your subscription.
We encourage you to review these terms periodically to stay informed of any updates.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the state or federal courts located in the United States, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of these courts.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability, so some of these disclaimers may not apply to you. Your rights may vary depending on your location.
